a new rule. “All new vaccines will undergo safety testing in placebo-controlled
trials prior to licensure.” The news drew both praise and criticism from
medical experts.

He also noted that the trials for
mNEXSPIKE
didn’t test the vaccine against a placebo.
Instead, it was tested against
Spikevax
, Moderna’s
previous COVID-19 mRNA
vaccine
(which was documented to cause huge harm)
, and it only showed slightly higher efficacy.
The trials didn’t test for efficacy against illness, hospitalization or death.
Instead, they measure whether the vaccine triggered neutralizing antibody
titers.
FDA Commissioner Marty Makary is
shaking up the vaccine approval process, demanding rigorous, placebo-controlled
trials before greenlighting Novavax’s new COVID-19 shot.
Rejecting outdated 2021 data that ignored natural immunity,
Makary, alongside Dr. Tracy Beth Høeg, is pushing the industry to reexamine
assumptions, including whether healthy children really need more COVID

The Trump administration halted construction on a nearly complete offshore wind project near Rhode Island as the White House continues to attack the battered U.S. offshore wind industry that scientists say is crucial to the urgent fight against climate change.
Danish wind farm developer Orsted says the Revolution Wind project is
about 80% complete, with 45 out of its 65 turbines already installed.
